How about some toasted cheese sandwiches?

You could do it yourself if you had lived in Louisiana
(USA) during the Depression years in the 1930s !

It's quick --cheap --and filling--and so popular it was
adapted by a quick/food company called Subway--
No cooking required ! ---just eating ! and
smacking your lips !

These were originally called PoreBoy or
Po'Boy Sandwiches ---Slice a loaf of French
Bread down the middle---Stuff it with layers
of sliced ham,sliced cheese,sliced pickles,
lettuce,tomatoes mayonnaise,ketchup-etc

wrap in whatever will keep it from dripping

Bon Appetit !
