Why should they have old wrinkly people? We look at ourselves everyday in the mirror, we know what we look like, So we'd like a young looking avatar!

Because everything and I mean everything is geared for the younger generation.
At least I took a stab at it, and didn't just pick a gray man avatar. How boring. So I have some semblance of a real human being.

They do have old avatars but you have to sign up for the 360 profile or you will not have access to them. They have a lot of different faces on the 360.

No idea, but it's kind of nice looking young. Maybe they don't think an avatar of on older person would get response. Like we seniors wouldn't know what they were talking about.

Yes, I asked that question myself last month. The outcome of that was that Yahoo SHOULD get around to supplying these for us older users who want to retain some sort of authenticity with their avatars.
But, of course, it is something Yahoo HAS NOT gotten around to yet.
Maybe if we all started sending in "suggestions" to add wrinkles as a choice to our "face" pages by using the "Tell us what you think" link on the bottom of each yahoo page, we would be able to get their attention long enough to get them to start working on this request?

I wondered this myself... but I look good in my young skin and gray hair. It's kinda like getting botox and a day at the spa.
