how do you harvest human sperm in a clinic or lab? do they just stick in a needle in the testicle,extract and stow in a sterilised container? Is it as simple as that? in the context of aided pregnancy of course.....

Sperm taken from the testicles is not mature. The little guys are not ready yet.

The picked up sperm is held in the Bank of the Sperm and utilized for experiments and fertilization purposes. In the clinic or lab the donor has to put his sperm in a little sterilized plastic bin and before being frozen it has to be analyzed and classified too.

if they are harvesting sperm for the sperm bank then it is true that you masturbate into a container...
if you are getting your sperm completely removed then they take a knife and cut your testes out. But they probably do use a needle for this one... to numb the pain

I don't know about you other guys but sticking a needle in my testicle isn't a simple procedure as johnnymouse indicates
