I don't believe that they are the same things...It's an odd question?

Understanding is one thing....to be able to be sympathetic, empathetic, or tolerant in recognizing somebody’s or something’s character and situation

Accepting is another....to be able to endure something difficult or unpleasant without complaint
or protest

Remembering is completely something else.....
to become aware of something that had been forgotten

No, i don't believe they are the same because a person can understand something but not accept it, for example assisted suicide for people with a terminal illness is understandable if it is done to end suffering but some think it is murder.

And also remembering something doesn't mean you understand it beause people do remember things from when they were young child but don't understand them, therefore they can't accept them.

They are all very different...
Understanding is the process of knowing the situation..
Accepting is knowing and acknowledging the situation as a fact and getting on with life...
Remembering is recalling something, or keeping something in memory...

Understanding is to comprehend. I comprehend racism but will not accept it.
To accept is to understand and receive it into your life, or be at peace with "it", but I have had to relearn many things because i did not remember them.
I have had many remembrances I did not understand, and I took years (am taking years) to accept them as part of my past.

No.

I might understand why my dog chewed up my living room rug (he's a dog) but I don't accept it (correct the behavior).

I remembered my dog used to chew up my living room rug but I corrected the behavior and how he doesn't do it anymore.
