......the way the scousers and goon er's are giving it the big un about winning the league just because United drew 1 game?..... It will be interesting to see what excuses they come up with after Christmas when it's back to a straight battle between United and Chelsea.

In a way, yes. I have just dampened down a Reading fan by pointing out that it was only one game, and the first game of the season at that, when all players are enthusiastic. Man Utd started last year like a train and won the Premiership, but they are also masters at starting off slowly, and getting stronger in the second half of the season. We will see what is happening around Christmas.

Ain't giving it a big un at all but you have to admit that to win the league again you probably can only afford two draws at home and your first game of the season being at home would generally be your banker. Of course it's still all to play for , but still a disappointing result for you despite the bravado. As for us gooners who were already written off and spend a tiny fraction compared to your big dollars when we whip you again will you admit we've over performed?

bluedoglondonlad.. we slag off Man u as if we're their equals? well we have finished above them in the EPL, going on that logic why do you slag us off you should talk to Everton and Reading fans then.

I think its a bit early for any team to start bragging about the league. What Injuries, suspensions and cup runs lie ahead? It is a long season and 1 game at this stage does nothing, win lose or draw.

have to agree with you. we get slagged by the gooners all the time for saying we can break into top four yet they slag man u as if they are their equals. the title is between man u and cfc and anyone who thinks differently is probably a kid with no girlfriend like kolo. as for liverpool they have as much chance of winning the league as us, in fact when was the last time they even came close.

yes but the diffrence is with us gooners,we can afford to be cocky, we play the best football and win,we dont spend millions like man utd chelsea ect..and still win.

thats what happend when you spend big then draw with a wee team....get used to it.
