I forgot to mention we are going away for a 1week, so this would be something additional.

This works for me!
Get a nice pink, see through Teddy and surprise him at the door in it, but make sure he hasn't brought his boss or co-workers home with him!
The Teddy really is for him and at 1 year, he will still be very happy to see you in it!

I have no idea what kind of money you have or are interesting in spending. Since your husband has lots of things already - another thing is going to be what he needs. You say he likes electronics so since the first year tradition to to get something made of paper I would suggest a gift certificate. What what I would have liked more might be a short get away trip that the two of you might be alone and could have something like another honeymoon just to remind him that for you the honeymoon never really ended or however you would like to put it.

Good Luck!!!

If he has a hobby, take him out to dinner and then take him to the sporting goods store, gamestop, pet store, etc. Let him choose something he wants.

If you can afford it, go to another town to spend the night, and then go to the store the next morning.

My husband and I have done this several times over the years. We drive to a town about 1 hour away. Spend the night and then go to Gander Mountain sporting goods and to the mall. We spend the day together and we each buy something we like.

It is a great tradition, and our anniversary is in September! wooo hooo

I once paid for my husband to have a pedicure then took him to the salon to have it done.
He absolutely loved it!
If you don't want to go that route then you could get him a message anyone would appreciate that.
Then afterwards go see a movie then take him out to dinner at his favorite restaurant.
It's not a material gift but one he will probably remember for a long time to come.
Good luck and happy anniversary!

our anniversary for 1 year is this September as well so I am interested in answers for this too lol...=) Adding here: As I have been reading, a gift certificate sounds good, for his favorite store, and since 1 year is paper, write him a letter on paper about how you feel 1 year later about him also!

Being that the first year gift is paper, how about a poem or a letter telling him how much you value him, how you can see yourselves in 50 years....just speak from the heart.
