Unless it is planned for the child to be raised in a country where Hasafer is a common name, I wouldn't bother. If this happens in any European country, or the US, the child faces a lifetime of discrimination. Take for example, when the child is an adult and applies for work. Many companies will reject the application immediately. There is serious mistrust with any name that is not native to any one country and with all the troubles in the world today, it affects the everyday lives of many people. With a common name that is associated with the country the child is raised in, the name will be more beneficial. Employers will offer Interviews thus allowing the person the chance for the potential employer to physically see him and question his knowledge, skills etc. With a foreign sounding, especially Muslim sounding, most employers won't even invite the candidate for an interview. It's a sad world but don't go making it worse for those that haven't lived yet.

hasafer?! Definitely not! However, I wanted to either marry a person named Ahmad, or have a son and call him Ahmad since that's my favorite name. I got the former, still waiting for the latter!

My little ones call us mommy and daddy even however our oldest went by an quite short section whilst she talked approximately as my husband jeph. on the different hand, on an identical time as my young ones call MY mom and dad grammy and grandpa, they call my husbands mom and dad by ability of their first names particularly regularly. they have custody of my husbands cousin who's 4 and it variations the relatives dynamic in such that i think of my little ones are not specific precisely what to call them and that i do no longer think of it concerns. as long with the aid of fact the little ones have admire for the adults in each and every of the procedures that concerns, who cares particularly. In a ideal worldwide we'd all be mommy and daddy, grandma and grandpa or in spite of. yet you will be able to desire to %. your battles and a recognition is largely a recognition to me.

Well hasafer........
I like you so much, but I already had my sons and I didnt name them like that.
About grandkids...well ...their parents will put the names...not me.
So dear......sorry, no way to have one "hasafer" in my family.

About what Ken said.... Please Ken, dont generalize.
The only place where discriminate the persons bcoz of their names is in USA. (without trying to offend you)
In my country a kid can be named Brian....Kenneth... Shawn...José, or Ahmad, that it wont be difficult for him in the future.
To discriminate pple bcoz of their names is to have a very small mind.
The values of the pple arent in the names..........but in what they are and how they are.
