Yes! You tend to attract things that are in the same wavelength as you. And people can feel that 'energy' that you emit into the world. A simple example: if you are a positive person, people will feel that and you will see that more people or friends will gather around you, compared to if you are feeling really negative or moping around, you will repel people away from you. Thats the 'signals' that you send out to others.
And its true that what you focus on the most in life is what you will achieve. And ive experienced this for myself. In school, the only thing in my mind was to graduate first in my class, and i was completely focused on this, and I succeeded so. But of course you cant just wish it! You must also believe in yourself, and work at it, put 130 percent of your effort in it, and you will succeed.
Ive also sworn to keep positive regardless, because Im sick of complaining and moping around. Its time for action!

Not that one, no. But I do believe in a different "law of attraction." I believe that all matter, intelligence, light, goodness, etc... all good things are attracted to each other.
You know, that "law of attraction" emphasized in the book "The Secret" may even be true, but I feel that it is immoral to give oneself that much power, so I will not believe in it.
"Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely." - Lord Acton, British historian.

I do. Opposites poles attract each other. A good example is between me and my wife. We have so many things not in common but we were attracted much with each other until we got married and thus resulting to a wonderful baby daughter.

In my house, we're all into it. There's more reading to do beyond The Secret, however.
It may not work to some, but you do feel grateful for the things you have, and more positive.

Absolutely not. Fear The Secret, fear it, for it is attempting to make you do silly things and buy it's product for profit.
You can't warp peoples emotions through your own desire, you must work for it, you can warp their emotions through long term effort and if they want you too, love is not forced, it is willingness from both parties.
