Depends why he is getting wind in the first place. If you are breastfeeding, make sure he is latching on properly and not sucking in air. If bottle feeding make sure he is latching the teat properly and hold the bottle so the teat is always full of milk otherwise he will be sucking air again.
Also burp after everyfeed until he does a nice big one! Make sure he doesn't have a draft from a fan/aircon in his face as this will also make him suck in air.
Also, you can buy medicines for wind that you give them before a feed (just a couple of drops) so it makes all the bubbles form into one big one and they can burp it out in one burp. I think its called "Infacol" and it works really well.
If none of that works, try changing formulas and see if that works.
Good luck and I hope that helps.

I'm afraid this is just something you'll have to get used to, until baby stops drinking milk.... Babies often gulp their milk down in a hurry when they're hungry, swallowing air as they go. You could try feeding him slightly before he's due a feed, so he's not so hungry and gulping so much. Gripe water is really good to help when he has wind, I used that for all three of mine. Mind you, I always enjoyed winding my babies, it's a good excuse for a cuddle!!

I was told while feeding to pat his back. It helps with the gas and also fills them up more.

have you tried gripe water, i have used it and it works wonders for that amongst other things or you can lay your baby on his belly on your legs and gently pat his back that should also help.
