Because excessive practice leads to habit which reduces the role of the mind in an action..... it is our ever dynamic and inconsistent mind that causes imperfections in what we do repeatedly.

But of course perfection is only a concept... what practice can do at best is to take our repeated actions to a level of acceptable consistency.

Practice, in fact, does not make perfect because you would practice the best for something in life and yet again you cannot achieve what you want and someone else does. What i would say is practice makes complete but not perfect.

The phrase that says " practice makes perfect" connotes to the skills you have achieved after mastering everything. Having done the latter, will not make a person perfect per se. It is the mastering of skills that you wanted to achieve. Say for example a skill in a particular field in math may be a good example. It is only the skill that is referred to and does not refer to the whole character of a person.

ur right that no one is perfect, & even if u alaways practice,u will never be perfect, but before saying so, u must specifie the place ( where ) & ( what ) u want to be perfect in !
every one of us could be perfect & more than perfect in at least one thing in his life, & practising means that u are practcing in one or two things in ur life, which means that there's at least 1% availbilty to be perfect
this's why practice makes u perfect

nobody is perfect that statement is true. but u are asked to work to add more finesse to what ever you know and do. for not always you succeed in getting the best results in the first go. the more you repeat the more you are aware of your mistakes and a step towards the long road of perfection

That is a great question! It should be worded "practice makes one better".
