going on holiday next month,heard of plastic bottle watering for plants,how does this work?

Fill jug with water, cut a length of COTTON string insert one end inside jug ....... ( make sure it's long enough to curl around the BOTTOM OF THE JUG a couple of times to insure not falling out) .......... and one under soil in pot. Some plants if very large might need more than one jug if you will be gone for any length of time (do the same way). Also try to set the jug higher than plant (gravity flow down helps)
