Well, you do get a break on your income taxes and you could never pay (unless you were rich) the cost of the education a child receives!

I personally don't think families should get to claim a higher ground just because they can reproduce, while everyone else gets to subsidize parents. I am not saying I have a personal issue with it, however, I can see where some could.

Koala, say something constructive that has some merit! She has been in 7 months, and you guys were in for 12 years. Cut her some slack. Once we get rid of Bush, and many more Republicans in the House and Senate, things will change. The rich may not like it, but who cares. They have been getting all the breaks for over a decade, and the Republicans having all but eliminated the middle class proves it!

you can thank the liberals...another way to raise taxes and cater to special interests. i agree with you but as long as you have people like the pelosi/reid regime granstanding and posturing for power, what can you do.
