The name Jacinta comes from a Spanish origin. Jacinta means Hyacinth, a flower. Personally I dont like the name Jacinta but it's certainlly very unique and it sounds different from most common names. The are many other unique names starting with 'J', it may help you decide if you go on a name website. They have many names and meanings if you wanted to find out.

I love the name Jacinta, the only issue I have is that we once had a huskie puppy named Jacinta and so in my head it's a dog's name, but I chose it because it's lovely and I'm sure others will like it too.

Jacinta is a fantastic name. Not boring, bad or ugly! Its very pretty, feminine and not so common. I had a lovely little friend when I was a girl named Jacinta and my daughter has a Kindy friend with that name.
Well done! I like your taste! Stick with Jacinta!
