I've seen good friends buried at an early age, and I've seen new life born twice in my house!
I've finally experienced love for someone so strong, I felt nearly invincible!, and then slowly watched it die.
I've watched many new things enter my life, and sadly watched alot of good memories fade away.
With good comes bad, and what doesn't kill me makes me stronger! I should be thankful, I guess, to have experienced life at it's fullest, whether good or bad!

I saw a car accident happen right in front of me one time. A jeep flew off the road in front of me. I stopped and got out. I ran down the hill and saw the vehicle was on fire. The driver was closest so I started there. He was badly bleeding from his head and chest and had a broken leg with the bone protruding out. I slid him out first and pulled him far enough way in case it exploded. A second car stopped behind me with the husband tending to the driver and his wife calling for help. I then ran around to the passenger side and was saddened. The passenger was his pregnant wife who was decapitated. Then, I checked the back seat and saw a small child there with there head crushed. That was the worst scene I had ever seen. The husband screamed for his wife and child and I tried to calm him. He kept asking and I kept changing the subject trying to get him to stabilize himself. Finally, I told him his wife and child had no pulse and didn't make it. He started to cry and and then he suddenly stopped. He died in my arms that day. That went down as one of the worse days of my life and I will never forget it. I would like to thank every nurse and doctor out there for all of their work. I have a big heart and I don't think there is any way I could go through that each day I went to work....... Thank you ! : )

I close my eyes and watch the darkness
drawn to my world of make believe
this world is filled with so much sorrow
and ive seen all this world i care to see...

i watch as castles fall around me
ungrumbled ruins of my home
this world is filled with much unhappiness
so many people so long

seeds that thrive in loveless gardens
fruits of such will bitter be
fields of hate and greed surround me
and ive seen all this world i care to see...

My wife and I spent a month living in the Intensive Care ward of a major children's hospital when our "special"daughter almost died last year. As bad as you think you may have it sometimes, there's always someone who's worse off.
