No one can explain that why planes and ships dissappear in the zone known as the Bermuda Triangle. Any particular place on earth can be prone to accidents. Accidents happen, anytime and anywhere, even on space. So the Bermuda triangle is one of the accident prone area/zone. Some Highways causes more accidents and deaths than the Bermuda triangle. Some says it has got a magnetic pull from below the surface of the sea. Some says the plane disappear in mid air. Some would say that ships were found with no crews on board. Whom to believe and what to believe is up to individual himself. Sometimes I think it contain no sense at all. Read the book "The Bermuda Triangle Solved" mysteries written by David Kusche. It might help you find your exact answers.

They haven't.

A) you do not disappear At the Bermuda Triangle. it isn't a point.

The Bermuda Triangle is an area, so you disappear IN the Bermuda Triangle.

B) Scientific explanations are that disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle are no more than in other comparative areas.

The area of the Bermuda Triangle also has some severe weather patterns and tricky waters.

Wikipedia (below) has some good explanations and you can google it for other "fan" pages.

Once an area gets a tag like that, it also becomes a convenient area for modern people who want to disappear.

Throw in a litle "mis-information" because it sells, books, trinkets, newspapers and brings tourists and thus you have the BT.

The millions of dollars disappear at the Bermuda Triangle because it is a Tax haven. The owners of these millions then charter a plane and jump off parachutes to Bermuda to spend their millions. The plane itself crashes into the sea. Next thing, the newspapers report about another lot of people missing at the Bermuda triangle.
Hope this helps.

The life span of man barely reaches 100 years. That means millions of people die all the time whether its in the Burmuda triangle or any where else. When some one has died ,for all intensive purposes ,the person has basically disappeared.

However ships ,yatchs and airplanes have disappeared in the area. The bulk of the mysterious disapearances of ships was due to Piracy. That mystery has been solved a long time ago.

First of all - it is not "millions" of people. It is more likely under 100 people.

Secondly the reports has always included bad weather.
Thirdly it is highly likely a publicity stunt.
Fourthly there has been scientific investigation on the basis of reports. However nothing unusual has been found.

The most likely thing to have happened is maelstroms or likewise phenomenae.

Millions of people? Hardly! Not even a fraction of that...there is no known reason for any of the disappearances in that region. Pilot error, human stupidity, and mechanical malfunctions are surely the causes for every single incident, I'm sure of that much.

Smoke and mirrors, legend, stupidity or cynicism (on the part of the people who write the books and make the films). Or all of the above.

I think it has been proven that the water in that area is just extremely choppy and the waves can crest really high.1
