when i put clothes in the washer they get like..
Mud stains all over, its not mud but it looks like it, and today the washer was making noises, and not spinning like it was struggling, when i went to empty the washer all the clothes were dripping wet and there was a BIG steaming hot puddle in the bottom of the washing machine,
I bought a new top and i am attatched to it now! and it is covered in black smudgy stains, anyone know what is wrong with the washer or what the stains could be?
And poss how to get the stains out , Im not sure what the stains are though..
Thanks soo much!

this happened to me too. I think that sludgy stuff builds up in the machine cos of too much washing detergent and overloading. I used a special descaler from local supermarket, one that you use just once in a hot wash cycle, like a kettle descaler, and stopped overloading and watched how much liquid i put in, and it seemed to work.
iI also cleaned out the drum and rubber seals. seals were really grimy.
I also put it on a really hot wash with nothing in it.
I think Ill have to do this every few weeks, but its worth it i think.
Hope this helps.

I would run an empty wash cycle to see if the problem is because the loads you are washing are too large or if the machine itself has an issue. If you overload a washer, time and time again, it will cause strain on the parts and motor. That could lead up to some sort of oil leak and lack of a spin cycle.
If the machine runs fine empty, then I would run another empty cycle with just some bleach and detergent to clean it out.
If the machine runs bad even on an empty cycle, then you need to get it repaired or replaced.
As far as your stains in your shirt, I would soak the shirt in a warm bucket with some OxiClean. That may get the stains out. But if they are grease or oil from the machine, they may not come out. My husband works in construction and some of the grease and oil from the machinery on the job site is pretty much impossible to get out of his clothes!

This happened to me too, i put it on a really hot wash but with no detergent in to clear it out. Check your filters too. You should also go to your nearest Wilkinson's or equivalent and look for a washing machine cleaner (like Calgon) to use regularly. We live in a hard water area and this causes us problems so we have to descale and clean shower, washer, dishwasher, kettle regularly.

1st : Why do you have a "lot" of dirty clothes ? you have to reduce your work by washing every night before going to bed , your underware and small items like socks, pantyhose, bras, small tops, etc... then separate your laundry by putting, heavy soiled dark and light soiled dark, colored, white, and then, light fair, synthetics/nylon.. get some cheap loaf of soap. (oldfashionned natural or marseille soap), with a cheese grater, grate your soap in a bowl and set aside. if you live in a town home or building, there must be a common laundry room with a sink. if yes, fill up the sink wiht warm water and add a half of the bowl of grated soap. start washing, the light, fair clothes all together and rinse. have ready a clothe hanger-dryer, foldable and portable. let your stuff dry if you can trust your neighbors. if not take them up , at home. for the heavy soiled do the same, but if it is too much ask a family member to help. (only one bag !) put an ad at your local grocery store and offer to help in exchange of cooking or baking dishe, or taking their trash out or taking care of their dog (walkies). see with your church (if you have one) there is a woman group, and/or helping hand group. do you have children ? if yes, do they have friends who have parents ? do not be ashamed to ask, they might understand. be nice, honnest, and look clean, you do not want to let them know that you are a lazy bum... have your hubby/partner/boyfriend to help. if you have one of a kind and does not help you, put his stuff away and take care of yours only... there are a lot of way to do your laundry just get up and start now. good luck

Sounds like it could be oil coming from some part of the mechanics of the machine. You will need to get it looked at ASAP.

Hopefully you can find your filter (located in a wee drawer normally at the front bottom of appliance)
Open drawer remove, clean and refit filter and check for blockages.
Sounds like a blocked filter to me.
Best of luck
