Because in the end were taught to think more about our pride, then our hearts, this isn't what pride was met to do. It was met to drive the heart not hide it. But try telling that to all the one-nightstanders, over abition career people, porn stars, rapist, superstars, sportstars, layers, anyone that lives for anything other then there friends and family....
