i am in transverse town i just got goofy and donald and i tryed to go out the front dooor in the 1st distrect and i get to the ship menu and theres no other world to go to wat didnt i do

Make sure you've talked with Squall and the others and do the trinities around town. Do some shopping and talk to Cid then head out the door, you should be able to see worlds available to you now.

you probably have to explore traverse town because there is a lot of important things there. talk to all of the people. you have to defeat the boss to get to another world.
