into matters that even top government officials, law enforcement, etc., aren't even privy to?

i think the answer to this is that people should have to pass an IQ test to be allowed to surf the internet unchecked..

there are two ways to form an opinion: fact, and hearsay.

some people would rather believe hearsay than obvious facts if it coincides with their opinion.

There are idiots on both ends of the liberal/conservative spectrum. The farther one is to the left or right, the more one has to rely on specious arguments to validate one's opinions.

If more people used their sphere of influence to further the interests of the country rather than a political party, we'd have a much better country.

An I.Q. test? To surf the Internet?

How would this be implemented? Who would watch out for that? The government? So much for small government then.

It is amazing to see how many people have suggested testing people before they do certain things. Voting, now surfing the Internet. Why?

I was brought up to believe that no one person or one group is better or smarter than the other. Just because we have different opinions or different ideas or different ways of looking at something shouldn't automatically suggest that they are stupid.

You can be smart as a whip, but if you don't use the common sense God gave you it doesn't mean crap. And there is a difference.

No we don't! We have an ability reason and to know when something is impossible! We also have a lot of insight, especially when things keep happening over and over again! Like Vietnam! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to recognize a pattern!Yea, I believe cell phones worked perfectly at 25,000 feet going over 500 miles per hour. Hell, that was 6 years ago and I can't walk around the yard without losing a signal! And it has been scientifically tested as well!

I guess that would leave Bush out of surfing the net, but somehow I don't think he knows how even if he could!

He can't even read the newspaper!

MB, isn't it strange when conservatives take the word of novice, popular Mechanics, whose sole role at the start was to debunk the "myths",over professional pilots with both combat and thousands of hours in the air flying those same aircraft (one the very same 2 aircraft that hit the trades)saying it was impossible. It doesn't take much of a brain to figure out who is telling the truth!

It is an odd thing. They know as we all do that the Government keeps things from us and they know as most of us do that the Government is no longer motivated by our best interests. The thing that is odd is that they latch onto Ideas that are extreme instead of the everyday things that are bad enough. I think they need the excitement and the feeling of being a part of an "elite" group. In 1999 I watched as many people that I knew and even respected get caught up in all of the Y2K stuff. They purchased bulk foods and battery powered devices and generators, even guns. They did not know what an embedded chip was, I showed a cousin of mine what he was talking about when he was talking about embedded chips and he came out of it a bit but he did not fully believe me until after 2000.

LOL this could nicely be a humorous question, through fact assorted Bush supporters (neocons and pretend/misled cons) accuse 9/11 truthers and freedom circulation forms of being "liberals," whilst in fact truthers and patriots are oftentimes (genuine) conservatives who hate Bush. no longer each physique who hates Bush is a liberal. genuine cons, libertarians, anarchists, liberals and progressives, exceptionally plenty each physique yet globalists and imbeciles hates Bush and knows of that 9/11 became an interior pastime. So it is organic that the corporatist neocons and misled conservatives who nonetheless help Bush could exchange into perplexed and get the a number of communities mixed up. in fact, numerous folk get perplexed. enable's take a seem at this answer: "in many situations: Conservatives desire massive government for spying on U.S. voters and making the wealthy richer." Did you notice what got here approximately there? Socrates mistook the movements of the Bush administration for conservative regulations, no longer understanding that conservatism actual ability limited government. assorted people who call themselves "conservatives" have an analogous issue. They confuse the movements of the Republican occasion with the ideals of conservatism through fact they do no longer understand A) what conservatism ability, and B) that the Republican occasion became hijacked via globalists and is no longer conservative. it somewhat is why there's a extensive schism in the GOP suitable now, and due to this Ron Paul just about stole it in spite each grimy trick in the e book and all the load of the corporate media getting used against him. yet hi, Democrats, do no longer think of your occasion is the sparkling one. You have been hijacked via globalists, too. purely bear in mind somewhat piece of advice from around the aisle: if it ain't Constitutional, it is probably undesirable! yet another one... if the CFR is in contact, it is actual undesirable! Oh nicely, you will likely see what i'm conversing approximately whilst Obama will become the President. stable success taking back your occasion (or splitting off to connect us in a 0.33? See you in 2012!)

This is a chicken or the egg type of question. What came first, the feeling of having a special insight on something or being conspiracy theorist? You can't have one without the other. Liberal, conservative or even your regular old 'aliens are coming' types of conspiracy theorists seem to share this trait.

You think people should have to pass an IQ test to surf the internet?, I think you are probably joking, but it makes me wonder.......will the government start to do that soon, probably so, and it will be an IQ test they put together, so that insiders such as government officials and law enforcement are the only ones that can pass it, so that they can hide the facts from us poor little people, Im kidding......of course.

Why do ANY conspiracy theorists think they have special insights? A lot of it is the need to blame something horrible on people you don't like. There's also a level of communal reinforcement among people who believe as you do.

For example? I've never seen a connection between political party and the willingness to believe in conspiracies. For every "Bush caused 9/11" theory, I see a "Clintons committed MURDER!" theory, and who's to say what political party is most drawn to Area 51 in Roswell or who killed Kennedy, or Elvis still being alive? The very act of only calling one side on its conspiracy theories really is a minor conspiracy theory of its own.

The problem is everyone has different "facts". Sometimes facts can be presented in a certain light to influence your opinion towards the presenter's opinion. The real evidence is there it just depends on how you view it as to what it reveals. I'm not defending one side or the other. I'm only saying like everything else it is a matter of perspective. THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE. TRUST NO ONE. OBEY YOUR THIRST!

when people say things there must be something. meaning that there must be a reason why people are suspicious. people won't make up stories without any reasons. we have questions regarding many issues that goes unanswered so what do you expect people to do? people in power repeatedly lied and cheated us and the whole world, so why even trust them. history shows that many of these so called conspiracy theories were the actual truth. it is a corrupt system. don't you agree? one is either stupid and ignorant to believe in the system or gaining materially so they don't want and afraid of any kind of change, ie; they have to buy that refrigerator with a butter warmer! which category do you fall into?

I don't believe that we are told everything that goes on in the world by our governments. If that makes me a conspiracy theorist, then so be it.

I think that some people take things a bit too far and become paranoid about everything, and start to think that agents are following them and stuff like that, this borders on mental instability. However, I think that the majority of people in a society/country/culture are very naive to believe some of the stories that the media throw us. And incredibly easily led like sheep.
