How do you know if your in love or your just scared to be alone?

I think you know when you realize that you are willing to do anything to make your spouse/partner happy. When you do not weigh your relationship on what they can do for you, but instead strive to do all you can for them expecting nothing in return.

They are two different things.. Being in love is very special and you will know even if you are alone or not.. But getting a guy just because you are scared to be alone is definitely not love..

I dont knwo why people are so afraid to be alone. This is the time when you really grow and learn, especially about yourself. This is the time to reflect and do "something" for you to get ahead. Just wanted you to know I have a man yes but I enjoy being alone, yes we all get lonely but I think we should be sometimes. Anyways I thin kwhen you are desperate the nyou're shared to be alone. People who are in love prepare for having a bf/gf, expect all that comes with it, time, giving yourself in different ways, and so forth. Most inportantly they have the butterfly feeling running wild all the time. They miss that person. There is a difference from missing someone special than missing everybody. People who are scared to be alone will feind for anyones attention and are most likely to cheat. Go with your heart on this one dear.

That's a hard one for me, too. If I miss him when he's gone, it could be love. If my thoughts drift to him in odd moments, it's probably love. If I consider his feelings before my own, it could be love (but would be less likely if not reciprocated). There are no guarantees and relationships don't stay the same like a snapshot in time. They evolve. If you're scared to be alone, maybe you need a dog.

I guess when you're in love, you'll always want to be with that person and are always thinking about them. When a person is afraid to be alone they just want someone there to be with them so they have someone to talk to or do things with.

Knowing that you are in love is when you are thoughful of happy moments, visionalize happiness in the hands of your partner, have strong feeling of attractiveness towards him/her alone with you. Having a true vision of sharing life together, feeling secure around a person, thinking being close and even sexually emotional towards that person. Your want to see him, touch him/her smooth carelessings, just feeling excited towards a person.

I've lived with someone I loved and I've lived with someone because I just didn't want to be alone...I knew the difference and you will too.

If you have to ask, then you probably aren't in love with the person. There is no way of not knowing, as long as you are honest with yourself.

Actually for me it was quite easy.
I knew, I must be in love when he wore a pair of cowboy boots and break up with him over it.
