Congratulations on your baby and marraige! That's awesome.
As far as making yourself over, maybe I can help:
You probably need a quick beauty routine, because you are tied up taking care of your young one. To keep your skin looking its best, you need to eat healthy. I know you've probably heard it a milloin times, but drink water water water! Lots of it. And eat your brightly-colored veggies daily.
You diet will prevent new zits from popping out, but to get rid of the ones you have, invest in a cleanser or three-step system containing salicylic acid and/or benzoyl peroxide. Neotrogena works really well, and also the AcneFree system. Try Neutrogena Rapid Clear acne eliminating spot gel, which works really fast.
In terms of makeup, the fresh-faced look is in right now, so just apply the essentials. Try an oil-free concealer ONLY on the trouble spots, and an undereye concealer to maybe cover dark circles up if you are getting them from staying up with your baby at night. Then cover your face with a protective moisturizer containing spf. A little cream/gel blush on the apples of your cheeks will make your face seem nice and rosy. Then, for the day, just apply a little mascara. if you're going out at night, put a little eyeliner on, too.
For hair, try curling/scrunching. After you shower, scrunch your damp hair with a mousse an put it in a messy bun. Secure tight and sleep on it. When you wake up, you'll have luscious, sexy locks. Spray with a little hairspray and it'll last all day.
If you were looking for an update for you wardrobe, then what's in right now for summer/fall is light colors and breezy clothes. Try a flowy calf-length skirt (good for daytime and very comfortable) or a fashioable wrap-dress for evening, and a baby-tee, which will show off your curves a little more than a regular T-shirt. And nice shoes. Cork or straw wedges with a sling-back are adorable.
To keep you looking your best, don't be afraid to take time out to pamper youself. A skin-conditoning mask once a week; a bath with oils and relaxing salts in the water.
Best of luck to you!

Don't be embarassed about reading a book just because it's not a 'classic'. Reading anything is a good thing; even if you're reading a comic book, at least you're reading! That you want to read is wonderful and is something that, sadly, many people do not do these days. I give you a standing ovation for having the desire to read. I can't really make any suggestions to motivate you to read, I think that has to come from inside you. My only advice is don't limit yourself and don't force yourself to read 'classics' just because you think that is what you should read. Maybe all you need is a change of pace. Good luck, and may the reading bug bite you soon!

I couldn't look at your pics since I don't have a myspace, but hopefully I can help. If you are looking to impress your hubby, remember a time from before when he told you that you looked beautiful (or hot for that matter!), and try to do something like that. While your baby's sleeping or happy playing alone, do your hair, makeup, or put a cute outfit and you will surely surprise him when he comes home.
