How do you fit a new passenger door wing mirror?
Ford Fiesta Finesse 1999. The shop said takes 20 mins but grateful is someone can give me (clueless) a clue on getting started.

The procedure is the same on most cars:
CAREFULLY prise off the triangular plastic panel on the inside of the door, at the front of the window, (directly on the inside of where the mirror is on the outside of the door), using a large, flat screwdriver or similar. This will expose the mirror mounting bolts.
There are usually three bolts, unscrew them, remove the old mirror, transfer the rubber door-to mirror seal from the old mirror to the new one if necessary. Bolt new mirror to door. Refit the internal trim panel.

The job is easiest with the door open and the window down (so you can reach both the inside and outside at once).

A Haynes manual will show you how if you are not sure.

if it is manual remove the plastic cover from around the bit you use to move the mirror and there should be 3 -4 screws remove them and fit new one in reverse so simple if you live in newcastle i will do it for free for you
