America is not a free country anymore the government can do what they wont, spy on who they wont and even invade which ever country they wont.
Is there a real free and democratic country and if so which one?

We never were a democracy, but I often ask the same question myself. They are taking your freedoms away for your own good! Can't you understand that? And the Constitution to George Bush is "just another piece of paper"!

There is no such thing as a true democracy. It would not, nor could it, ever work!

There may not be a lot of countries more free, at least on paper, but ther are plenty who do not abuse there power like our country does, usually in the name of corporate greed! Ther are many that are actually better places to live, like Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands!

Democracy, if it ever existed at all has been dead for quiet some time. The federal government is drunken with power and greed while letting the oil companies rape our wallets and help drive the gap in between poor and rich. The rich get more so while the poor continue to find it harder each day to provide for his/her family while getting poorer.Having our right to trial ripped away is one of many outrages that are starting to awake the sleeping beast within us as a whole. We're on a runaway train straight to another civil war which will lead the way for self government to be established. In my opinion the "new" government should split america into 4-5 zones and elect a president from each. With multiple presidents with different views that are elected to represent each section would be far more sufficient than one. Placing more power in the state and individuals rights.

Freedom these days is the freedom to be rich without responsibility. The rich don't have to pay their fair share of taxes, don't have to fight in the wars, don't have to worry if gas is over $3/gallon. They dictate the legislative agenda, determine who gets elected to political office and brainwash the general population with their almost total control of the media. If you ain't rich in America, you ain't nothin'.
