I'm not sure what era you're living in but the "Birds and Bees" discussion has now just become the "Don't have a baby" discussion.

Women = Birds, Men = Bees.
Bees sting!
My folks did not use it with me.
Just a figure of speech.

We have changed the name of it to just "the talk" but I did the same type my mom did.
"Tell me what you know & I will let you know what you got wrong"

actually, i never got the talk.
i'm 16, and if i had to go on what my parents have told me so far, god grants babies to women who pray for them, then the baby comes out your bellybutton.
sad, isn't it?
thank god for friends

I haven't heard that expression in years. I'm pretty sure it's been retired. Even my parents didn't use it.
