Abortion isn't a good idea at all ages. It's not only about yourself and if you could be affected by it but for the baby's life. You can't just throw a baby away because you did what you did without being more responsible!

Anyway go and have the baby and then give it for adoption to someome that will love and take good care of it.

only if you are emotional mature and prepared for it. It is a life changing thing for many woman. Some often wonder what the baby would be like grown up or if it was a boy or girl. Some end up not getting pregnant again and wonder if that is God's punishment. There is just a lot of emotional stuff that comes along with getting an abortion. They do councling before hand to make sure the girls/woman know the options because it is a big decision. To me it is a big decision than even adoption for most woman.

YES

Very much...

getting pregnant as you didn't get proper sex ed and do more then one contraceptive method and following the rules was the bad aide.

In educated countires they still have sex but dont get pregnant.

now you are think realisitically

Something the pro life relgious nuts dont do.

If you miss out on the best years of your life, the parties, loves, festivals, uni, travelling etc you will resnt the kid and they would feel it.

Plus withotu that there will be a massive void in your life always regretting what you missed out on.

Doing all that helps you materure and experience life so when its your kids turn in 18-20 years time you would be able to help them out.

only have the kid now no experience you cant help.

As well as why bring a kid up in a council estate where their only friends would be junkies and mugger gangs killing each other over stupid turf notions of this estate vs that one.

With no money to escape and not being able to give a kid a good life.

And adoption.

if that worked there would be no kids homes where priests abuse and rape kids or in the third world all the streets would not be fuill of child prostitutes

And its not a baby inside you as it does not talk feel, crawl, lean. it has no awareness and early on just cells and an organic contrction site

No, it is not a good idea.

It is a medical surgery and a risk to the mother. Everyone thinks that abortion is a simple procedure but it isn't, complications still happen, infections still happen.

Yes its your body but now it is an unborn child's body too. You nurture the child. If you are not ready for the child then you should give it up for adoption.

Telling you that you will miss your fun years, parties and misc... is funny considering you were having fun and are now in this predicament.

Before you do anything talk to your parents, and if you believe in God, Pray for an answer within yourself.

Abortion is never a good idea....

No, I don't believe most 16 year olds are mature enough to deal with the outcome of an abortion. Most of them are also not mature enough to be a parent. Best thing would be adoption....or better yet...not to have sex at all.

16 year old abortions should be unheard of...why are 16 year olds getting pregnant anyways? There are ways to prevent it and 16 is old enough to know that.

Having an abortion is a hard thing to deal with. I know from personal experience. There are days when I regret my decision. But I know my life is better for it. I was 16 and had sex. We used a condom, it didn't work. I believe it is your choice. You are the one who has to deal with this decision. There is no one who can tell you that you cannot get one, and only you can decide to keep it or give it up for adoption. If you do decide to keep it, ask social services for help. And if you decide to give it up for adoption, go to social services. They can start showing you families that want to adopt. Most of the time you can meet the family and talk with them. I know this isn't the answer you wanted. You are looking for a straightforward yes or no, unfortunately no one but yourself can say yes or no. Do what you feel and think is best for you.

Abortions at ANY age are not a good idea. If you are irresponsible enough to have sex without protection, you need to face up to ur responsibilities of the outcome. Is it the childs fault that you had sex unprotected? No, so why be a murderer. Have you EVER seen how an abortion is done? Its horible. The baby is alive and forming something that can feel and to kill them is just wrong.

If you think by going town to planned parenthood for a free aobrtion without your parents permission, drop that. No matter what, if you are underneath the age of 18, your parents are going to find out. Deal with that fact, as your the one havving sex int eh first place. Second, it normally costs 700 dollars. Do you have that? It hurts far worse thanyou could imagin and the emotional pain of murdering your own child who can't help itself is one of the worst pains i the world. ADOPTION is the way to go.

PS-Adopting parents will most likly give you the money to give birth for the docters bills and they will even pay a thanks money. And, your awake for abortion.

Think about what would have happened if you mother had asked if abortion was a good idea when she was pregnant with you?!

Adoption is always an option and nobody dies.
