I need to re-boot my laptop and loose all the data that I've put on it. I've done this before but it comes with all that other software that I dont really want. How can I re-boot my system and only have the OS on the system when I'm done? And maybe the Norton stuff too. Thanks!

Move the Norton program file folder to a CD. Get the OS CD out, click on format hard drives option. Reinstall Windows files. Done

1. get a bootable cd from the internet and just delete everything you don't want

or

1. insert the install cd, and pick the bios during start up (f13?) and start off the disk. tell the computer to reformat the disk and install again.
