Above the smog, fog, and clouds, and away from city lights. Perhaps Lawrence Hall of Science or Mt. Hamilton. For the last few days, the valley of the bay area has filled with clouds at night, so the ridges around the bay have seen very clear dark skies, with the best viewing conditions in years.
