Would you actually want some cry baby who is afraid to play his game because he might get hurt and ruin his career as a wimpy whiner.
I love kids sports because they play with their hearts and not to protect their pockets.
Could you imagine what they'd want to be paid per year.
And remember they get half their pay for the rest of their lives when they leave office.

Derek Fisher from the Utah jazz would be good, he was the president of the players association and was released to be with his daughter who has a serious illness I'm not sure of the specifics though. And also he is a pretty good player.
