Do you mean goofy as in weird? Then that would be Dennis Rodman, Ron Artest, and Vernon Maxwell (he went into the stands and punched a fan).
If you truly mean goofy then Bryant "Big Country" Reeves has got to win. He made it to the NBA because he was tall and that's it. He loved to eat, hated to work out. His team hired people to follow him home to Oklahoma just to monitor his eating and get him to the gym.
Eventually his team just gave up on him. He had a huge contract and they just waived him--let him go. Thankfully no other GM picked him up. He went back to Oklahoma and was paid not to play.
