No, these are not the same. The correct formula for Lead (IV) carbonate is Pb(CO3)2. It is not Pb2(CO3)4.

Some compounds like Calomel (Mercury (I) chloride), do contain more then one atom of metal (Hg2Cl2), but these are the exceptions to the rules.

it is the same thing

Pb2(CO3)4=2Pb(CO3)2
the difference is that now there will be two molecules

Yes it is the same. Only for stability two moeties are in the same molecule
