I agree wholeheartedly with you
one of the best movies, well the best spanish movie ever made :)
i liked the mixture of fantasy and reality combined
the way the movie left you thinking, "Was it all a dream?"
"Or did she really become a princess?"
was it a happy ending or was she dead and that was that?
Not one boring moment either

I went into the movie expecting something like Harry Potter or some cutsie-pie mythical movie, but I was definetly surprised by the story line, the characters and the special effects. I felt making it in Spanish really gave it an edge and added to the experience. It undoubtedly was one of the better movies this year.
In the end, I think she died and went to heaven or what ever. Also, killing the general was pretty messed up. "Your son will not even know your name."

I was initially put off by the fact that I'd have to read a two hour movie. After the first twenty minutes, though, I didn't even realize I was reading the subtitles. It's one of the best I've seen in a long time.

12 in the event that they have been very mature, that face smashing scene grew to become into so photograph however, i wouldn't even enable it at that age 14 is a greater answer i assume. Plus maximum young infants won't understand or like the movie, that's a conflict movie not a toddler's movie.

It's a brilliant movie. Fantasy and reality, and the girl's reality afecting the rawness of her fantasies. It's absolutelly brilliant. I was completely awed by it and I've watched it several times now. Although I must share that for me it was all in the girl's head, the final scene is just a representation of the fufilment of her paranoia. Sorry, it was no happy ending for me, but it was a great ending, :-)

Yes it's certainly one of the best movies ever made.it's too bad that it wasn't in english so it couldn't be in contention for Best Picture at the Oscars.however, that movie was Best Foreign Language film.it's in my opinion, one of the best movies ever made.very touching and stays true to it's theme.it touches on the horrors of war, abuse, loyalty etc etc.there was fantasy amid reality and the way the director incorporated that was genius.the ending was a little confusing though.it's a pity that girl died.sob.love that movie.

I thought it was great, too. I'm used to subtitles, so that didn't bother me at all.
