im 35wks pregnant and my stomach has been hard as a rock ever since i started to show. dont worry though. i had a friend whose stomach was jiggly and her and her baby were both fine. it just means you have alot of fluid. and the heartbeat that you feel is your baby having the hiccups. i had an ultrasound 3 days ago and i felt the same thing and the dr said my baby had the hiccups.

My husband used to play with our baby when she was about this far along. He would put pressure on any part of my tummy, and my daughter would respond with a kick or an elbow. He pressed on top of my tummy and she kicked him so hard, honest, it was at least an inch. So he did it again and again, and almost was able to grab her ankle while she was in utero!
When you feel a pulse, your baby has hiccups.
Your baby is putting pressure on a lot of different spots, like intestines, stomach, etc. At any particular time, your tummy is digesting food, and it may have to go through a scrunched part and that makes special noises.
What really bothered me was that they were really active when I was trying to sleep. But if at some time, you want them to be awake, slam a cabinet door. She'll jump. Or play the radio.
This is a special time, even though it's hard on you. Soon your baby will be here, and your life will change forever.

Well I certainly hope you are going to regular check-ups because the doctor keeps track that the baby is growing o.k. Some babies are very small...gain weight in the last few weeks....and some women don't seem to gain that much....you also could be off on just how pregnant you are. The moving is the baby shifting around and kicking, even getting the hiccups. That is all perfectly normal ...and if the baby stops moving, you would probably get worried. At the last the baby will drop into position and move totally around for the head to come first. The doctor will also be watching that as well. So be sure you get your check-ups....very important!

Yes, I am sure the jiggling is ok. Although I myself have not experienced it. The pulsating or slight beating coming off of your belly is most likely your baby hiccuping. I have it all the time and I really like it. It's almost like a heartbeat to let you know your baby is ok.
