I seem to realize that there is alot of predudice against bisexual men and gay men. I dont see why it could possible bother anyone, I mean they are not having sex in the streets, and they are not hurting you so whats the big deal, love is love and thats how I see it. I am Bisexual but have been to scared to say anything to my family or friends for fear of rejection, WHATS THE BIG DEAL!?

That is total rubbish, most people don't hate bisexuals, they hate homosexuals too,

The "big deal" is simple. The majority cannot stand to see something that is different from what they do. Hence the creation of the minority. The majority today is hetrosexual men and women. Homosexual/bisexual lifestyles are considered "abnormal" simply because these lifestyles do not fit the same lifestyles that the majority of the population lead. The majority will always find a reason to complain even when the homosexual/bisexual lifestyle does not directly influence or have an impact in the life of the majority. They are not having sex on the street, they are not swearing off in public they are simply living their lives the way they want. Pierre Trudeau once said "the state has no business in bedrooms of its citizens" (something along those lines). And this is the way it should be, what happens in the private life of an individual should be no ones business unless they are harming a human being.

If you are bisexual you shoudl not be afraid to tell the world that. The world loves you for WHO you are not what your sexual orientation is. Yes your sexual orientation makes up you but that is non of our businesss. If you are happy and not harming anyone, I am happy too! This is the reactioni your parents should have. If they do not, give them some time for the ideal to settle in. If it does not and they disown you, you live once...live happy and for yourself. Do not fear rejection, the worst thing is living a double life at the expence of your life. This is your life not theirs, they shoudl love you. It's not big deal! Good Luck!

A lot of the hatred for bisexuals came about because people see them as loose, flirty whores. Others see them as the embodiment of freedom (not being restricted to one sex) and are a bit jealous. Some say they are taking away twice as many people from the single pool.

I think some gays/lesbians don't like bi people bcuz if they get dumped, it is bad enough to get dumped but for their ex to run off and b wit someone from the opposite sex is kinda embarrassing. I'm not saying that all gays/lesbians are like that but some of them are. If a girl doesn't believe that u r dateable just bcuz u r bi, then she isn't worth it. U need to find a woman who will except that u like both sexes n will deal wit it.

I think because most gays have a h*ll of a time in this society of ours being accepted and even accepting ourselves. And here comes these guys saying, "I have the best of both worlds, so don't be hating on me." lol, and we're like, 'oh no you don't.' I think alot of gays think its a cop-out, like by saying, "I like girls, its okay that I can like guys too!"

But as far as I'm concerned, the more the merrier!

Personally, It makes me never want to be alone with them.

Cause the line after 'I'm bisexual' is usually followed by 'I find you attractive.'

And I think "Golly Dang, I thought we were just friends and I just lost a friend."

It's probably because people don't understand matters of sexuality. As for fear of rejection - you must develop more self confidence, and not worry too much about what other people think of you.

there is no big deal..from my own experience i don't want to go out with any Bi-females specifically because they are more prone to cheat..not saying YOU or ANYONE else is that way..I am just stating my own experience with bi-sexuals..i use the analogy of Liberal Arts because to me bi-sexuals are only taking the major courses but unwilling to stick to one Major..so i guess I just CHOOSE to NOT date bi-females..I don't dislike them I just don't want to date them..as friends hell sure y not? I got alot of male friends seems every bi-female I've met I hook up with my male friends with no problem..i work with many civilans and military so bi-females are well..no big deal...
