win xp recognizes it but no drivers are found.

That should be plug and play on the USB port. Since it is a mass storage device on the USB port, it is actually using Microsoft provided drivers under Windows System 32.

The usb port works with flash drives, suited? Does the externalchronic ensue in My computer? Most hard drives wont need a driver, or if they do it is on the hard drive itself. Tell windows to search the external hard drive for the drivers. (If it simply isn't working without drivers)
