HIs wife makes more money than him.. she makes like 75K .. they have two kids and she will have custody.. he makes 35K...

they live in calif..

does she have to give him husband support since she makes more money??

Probably not as she will have responsibility for the kids and that would put her in an extreme financial bind. He should either look for a better job or think about relocating to a less expensive state.

It is doubtful she will be required to pay him spousal support. It doesn't matter who makes more money, what matters is the ability he has of supporting himself which obvioulsy he CAN do. However since SHE will have custody of the two children if she requests it HE will be required to pay child support. Spousal support is no longer a "given" in divorce and the court looks at the ability of the "displaced spouse" to support him/herself...even in California.

He will most likely be paying child support - regardless of income levels - since the kids will be living with her.

Not necessarily. It depends on what the lawyers say and what the judge decides. He will have to pay her child support.
