i recently bought ff3 for the ds and it's really fun~ However, i ahve one quesiton, or more, that bothers me..
You know that there are two level systems for a character, their overall stat and their job level. I specifically don't get the difference between these two. As i advance the game i have to change charcter's job to this than that according to the enviroment. ( it says in the guide) Then what good is it to ahve a high job level if your going to change it to another job and start from scratch?

They're supposed to help you in adapting to different situations. Personally, I rarely changed job levels because if you level up enough and have someone to heal your party, you're pretty much good to go.

The overall level is the "well-being" of you're character, ie. HP/MP, and statistics. The job level helps you learn new abilities, and allows you to equip certain weapons/armor. I personally don't follow what the guide says in regard to what to have in my party, mostly because I try to develop my own character's abilities, and get their job leveled up high enough so they have the most potential possible going up against the big bad guys. [The guide tries to put together the most well-rounded team for the upcoming fights.] When you do start from scratch with a new job, you should have some sort of advantage if you leveled up your previous job, because you could equip one of the abilities along with it.

One is your individual level and the other is the level based in your job.
The way they done is fine because put it this way: if you need a blackmage for the game and the system is only based on your job level, your black mage will be still one shotted if it were to train in a level 60 zone while your blackmage is a low level. And I think you will find it boring and tedious to go back to those newbie zones.
Having the individual level allows you train in whatever zone you can think of. With that so, your level can be 60 and your black mage will be 1 but still will be able to kill the monsters without a problem.

I extremely have have been given right here during that magic for the main section isn't extremely as clever as that is in distinctive very very final fantasy video games, now no longer to coach the unique NES FF3. therapeutic magic is nice - easily, yet in case you think approximately that there are at maximum 3-4 enemies on show reveal screen at as right now as, in case you have a beefy team with elemental weapons chosen on your section, there is likely a undertaking in case you ought to oneshot a minimum of two-3 of them. that isn't any longer only like the previous days, the region you're suffering with 9 enemies at as right now as.
