I'm not saying they are but I'm a guy and I usually only hear girls use them so I guess I was just curious if only gay guys used these words or if straight guys used them to.

It's just when a guy says to another guy:
"Awww, I was checking your unit, that's hot. Do you want to cuddle and snuggle with me. You do? Yay!"
That's when it sounds gay.

Well, Nick says "Aww"... and I know plenty of guys that say "That's hot" but it's about certain things, like a girl or something. I think the rest are okay to say too... everything except "Yay"... I don't think I can imagine a straight guy saying "Yay"... but I could be wrong... and reading these peoples opinions, apparently I am.
But a good question, none the less.

No, it isn't gay. Plenty of straight guys use those words. Of course, there will always be those who do think it's gay, but that's just because some gay men like to show their sensitive, sweet side a little more, because they think that's what makes them more like a woman...
But there is nothing wrong or gay about a guy being affectionate or sweet. Lots of girls like that, too. If you're worried about what people think, you'll never be satisfied.

My boyfriend's said the first 3, and I've heard straight guys say all of those words.
I seriously didn't realize there were "gay" words. o.O
Anyway, straight guys use them too.
