Yes, white vinegar and water works best. Especially if you make the solution and put in into an empty spray bottle from any household cleaner - it's easier to apply this way.

I don't know about tea, but you can make good window cleaner using ammonia, rubbing alcohol, and water.

I've always just used a solution of white vinegar and water. Then used newspaper to clean the glass. works well.

Never heard of it, we always use 409 and paper towels, they work well. If you want to use vinegar and make your home smell like a pickle, go ahead. I'll bet you don't do it twice.

People have way too much time on their hands to be mixing up concoctions just to wash windows.
