You only know if the report is UPHELD.
No matter what others are saying (well done Jessi for actually commenting on the system, not the blind GET REPORTED YOU GET A VIOLATION E-MAIL mentality of many) you DO NOT get a violation notice simply for BEING REPORTED
That only comes after the Y!Amsters have looked into the report and made a decision on it

You will get a violation notice that takes off ten points, and another two for deleting the answer.

even if u do get reported by chance ...unless its really bad or lots of complaints they wont remove your question...but if they do then will send you an email to your yahoo account...i got one not even knowing what i did was against the rules...i started an avatar game...oops!!

Well, I've been reported for one answer i've put,
it wasn't bad, but I just voiced my opinion too loudly.
haha. but you just get this e-mail, warning you
not warning you, just telling you that you were out of line.
It's a general e-mail, nothing special.
