Lol, you are ridiculous. If you cannot find any meaning in the statement then maybe you should find a different section, no?

There are several theories for what "happened" before the big bang. One of them is that a universe had previously expanded just as this one is and then collapsed in on itself. This collapsed universe then "banged" into an entirely new universe....the one we live in ;)
But then again prior to the big bang, as of now, nothing is provable.
I assume you are a theist. You think god created the universe? Why limit your understanding and replace it with a god? God is the biggest why in the world, the only problem then is why IS god? Why will go on forever, it's self-defeating. Kids ask the most "why" questions, as we get older we realize it's not as simple as why.

The why and how in this statement relate to things much bigger than "why/how do I brush my teeth in the morning?"

If a general told you there was no why, then....why would you do what he said? That doesn't make sense.

We search for why, but it is always mysterious. We would never get anything done if we insisted on knowing why, because we could never be sure. But the 'how', or the method is doable and concrete, so at some point in order to act at all, we have to stop asking why and only ask how.

doesn't make sense, of course there is a why or a reason
if anything it should be there is no how, only why, b/c reason, intention, is more important than how you did it.
this saying seems to be somethign a general might tell his soldiers, boss/employees.
get the job done, don't worry about why you're doing it

...I would say: you must be an atheist.
And I would ask:
Since science has established that the universe had a beginning, that would mean that it came in to existance...
And since it is impossible for "something" to come from "nothing", then HOW did the Big Bang occur?

But there is a why, there's allways a why unless you are bent on trapping yaself in a mechanistic Newtonian universe . In that case good luck in your meaningless life of sense phenomenon which doesn't make sense to ME. God is subtle.

It means that every question already has an answer. It is irrelevant to ask the why; just ask the how.

Ya, and there's no try, only do or do not.
Why is the question asked for meaning........... How is the question asked for teaching/learning. I guess one is more important than the other.

I'll tell you how, I simply ignore it. It has no relevance or value. It's absolutely nothing. That's what I make of it.

my interpretation: Don't ask why you have to do this or that, just how you will get it accomplished.
