Karl Malone
- MVP '97 and '99
- 1 of the 50 greatest player of all time, HoF
- 2nd in all-time scoring behind Kareem
- 2-Time Olympic Gold medalist '92 and '96
- "The Mailman" because he is paid to deliver

Robert Horry
- 7-Time NBA Champion
Rockets ('94 & '95)
Lakers ('00, '01 & '02)
Spurs ('05 & '07)
- At least a 2nd round playoff finish his entire NBA career
- "Big Shot Rob" for making clutch baskets when it mattered most.

Money aside of course... Malone would a least be 5 times richer than Horry.

Robert Horry. He has been on 3 Championship teams. He has played with Hakeem Olajuwon, Clyde Drexler, Sam Cassell, Kenny Smith, Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili.

He holds the Finals record for steals. Does Malone hold a Finals record? (Not asking to be sarcastic----I really don't know if he holds a Finals record).

He has hit KEY/CLUTCH shots in the biggest of games.

I read somewhere where Charles Barkley said he would trade his MVP for a Championship ring. I don't know if Malone feels the same way.

As for pay, these are their NBA career totals:
Malone $106,468,378
Horry $50,532,000

Malone at $106 million has earned twice the money Horry has earned. Interesting.

Both are winners. People equate success with winning an NBA ring. How about the Olympics? The stage is even bigger there than the NBA.

When Horry's career is over, he'll not be mentioned in the same breath as Karl Malone. Basketball books will have Karl Malone's name in bold letters while Horry's will be just one of the footnotes. I doubt if Horry will be in the Hall of Fame!

I'll be the Mailman!

I'd rather be Karl Malone. Best power forward to ever play the game. He second all-time in scoring. He's at least been to the Olympics, unlike Horry. Horry hasn't ever been an MVP, but Malone has done it twice. Even though Malone never won a championship, he will al ways be remembered as one of the greatest power forwards of all-time. Horry may have won 7 championships, but he will never be remembered as much as Malone.

Robert Horry. He has LIVED. He played with the Lakers Shaq and Kobe. He was a part of the Spurs last season and Texas is where it's at!!!!!! He has won 7 of the playoffs! Come on now that has to be exciting. Money? Even if he mas made less than Malone you can trust that he isn't hurting financially.

Robert Horry anyday
He's played with Shaq, Hakeem, Drexler, Duncan, Kobe and some other of what will be known as the greatest. So, maybe Karl has too, but just look at the clutch shots Horry has hit. It would be amazing to do that.

there is something to be mentioned for gamers that for the period of lots of cases have fulfillment and are continuously on championship communities. Horry is a championship participant, to no longer say that he's a extra suitable high quality than Malone yet what could the MailMan have introduced devoid of the alltime chief in assists on his area for practically his total profession. Ask Malone which profession he could like, afterall he did take a discounted salary to connect the reignnig champion Lakers at an attempt of driving different action picture star's coattails in order that he ought to win a identify. If Malone could have won one identify with the Jazz that ought to have been adequate for me.

If you asked any current or former athlete who has played college basketball and worked his behind off to make it and didn't or has made it but was or is not a star if they were honest they would answer Karl Malone! He is a future Hall of Famer. I'll bet anyone who doubts me; Put Karl and Rob in the same room for a autograph session and see who gets the most attention/seekers. Despite those 7 rings, Karl still pulls rank and would get the VIP treatment where ever he goes.

Robert Horry. When you play in the NBA, it's all about the championship rings! While Karl was great, he never achieved the glory of winning the NBA Championship Finals!
