I would say being a Bills fan is when Scott Norwood missed the field goal against the Giants in Superbowl 25... Giants 20 Bills 19... I probably cried because I was like 2 maybe 3 years old but still I'm still crying about it today... ha. A wide right special for the Bills and most of all I feel bad for Scott Norwood he was such a great kicker.

I would have to agree with you on that one. Being the Bills fan that i am, i was loving the season with Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, and Andre Reed. Loved the defense with Bruce Smith, Darryl Talley, and Cornelius Bennett. Those were the days. I was actually a young kid at that time as well and we were on a vacation trip. We were in the car at that time and i specifically requested the radio channel with that game. It was very tense but the Bills drove all the way down and had the field goal unit ready to win the game. Then i heard Norwood's kick and heard nothing but WIDE RIGHT, WIDE RIGHT! I was literally crushed inside that car. I couldn't believe it, i thought it was a fluke or the announcer had said it wrong, but it was reality. 3 more years of hardship after that with the Bills making the Super Bowl but losing it. I wonder if the outcome would've been different for the other 3 super bowls had they won that first one. All those good seasons by those Bills and no Super Bowl ring to show for it. Sad........

1. Kordell Stewart's hail mary for Colorado vs. Michigan

2. Back up QB Stoney Case threw an interception in the 4th quarter vs the Bears in 2000 which was returned for a TD giving the Bears a 20-17 lead. The Lions tied the game at 20 and had the ball with under a minute left in the 4th quarter and Case fumbled this time, giving the Bears the ball which led to a 50+ yard game-winning field goal by Paul Edinger.

Had the Lions won the game they would have been in the playoffs. Instead, at the end of the season the Lions hired Matt Millen as GM. I think everyone knows what's happened since then... sigh

Most definitely the game between Notre Dame and USC back in 2006. It was the fourth quarter, and USC was facing a 4th and 19 (i think), and Matt Lienart threw a pass to the left side of the field to Dwayne Jarrett. If the Notre Dame cornerback (Ambrose Wooden) would've just stuck his right arm up in the air, the game would've been over, and USC's winning streak would've been over. Jarrett ran 50 yards down the field for a USC first down.

Later in the game, Matt Lienart was trying to run the ball into the end zone, and was hit while trying to dive. Well, the ball popped out, and the clock expired, so all of the ND fans ran out onto the field in celebration. The refs called the teams back on to the field because there was extra time left. Then the infamous "Bush Push", (which is illegal) sealed the USC victory...

Ahh!!!!! I still have nightmares about it today.

Go Notre Dame!!! Gold and Blue, through and through!!!!!

Bills vs. Patriots...days after the infamous coin toss incident on Thanksgiving Day between the Steelers and Lions. The referees simply handed the game to the Patriots by making bad calls...ruling a pass caught out of bounds as a legitimate catch, which led to the game-winning touchdown...and the instant play rule for next season.

The 1999-2000 playoff game between the Bills and Titans. Seeing the damn titans player return the ball on the last play of the game was heart breaking to me as a Jaguars fan, cuz the Titans ended up beating Jacksonville in the AFC championship game. The Titans were the only team to beat the Jags in 1999, it just so happens they beat them all three times they played.

The 1980 AFC Championship game ... SD Chargers at home against the wild card Raiders. Last play of the game, the Raiders caught a pass, then fumbled and kicked the ball until Casper(?) fell on it in the end zone for the winning TD.
They changed the rules between seasons to disallow what they did that day. It pains me even now to dig this disaster up f/ my list of most forgettable memories.
One play ... one stinking play ... and I went f/ exuberant hopeful to miserable witness. Nothing could justify what happened there that could make me feel that I wasn't cheated.

When the cornhuskers were winning against Texas by 2 points then fumbled the ball and Texas picked it up. The Huskers held them back but the Texas kicker was able to make a field goal and they won. that made me sad.

Touchdown pass from the overrated hack, Kurt Warner, to Isaac Bruce in Super Bowl XXXIV, after Tennessee had fought back from a 16-0 deficit to tie the game in the fourth quarter.
