because politics has gotton to be a name calling, mud slinging event. they are trying to get into office by making the other party look bad instead of trying to answer problems that the americans are facing. they probably would get along if they can stop their childish behavior.

Some don't get along because they believe strongly in the points they try to get across to others.
Personally, I have siblings that are Liberals. I love them dearly and Politics does not come up. The reason I wouldn't get along with them if they weren't my siblings, they can't give me one straight answer ever. They are Liberal and vote the Democratic ticket because that is the way their spouse does, that is the way their father did. Wow..that is scary to me!

Dems believe in controversial issues suck as abortion, giving imigrants amensty, and legalizing drugs.
Republicans believe in other stuff. But whenever it is politics people always fight, its just the way its always been.
By the way, poli in latin means "bloodsucking" and tics means "creatures" Or in some language.
