After years of dissapointment over the Bush Administration we need a change... I'm behind Ron 100%
His postions, his integerity.. the fact that he doesn't make faulty promises and actually has the track record to prove it. I believe in lower taxes for the middle class and poor, I believe the war should end and our troops should be safe at home, I believe America needs to revaluate its foriegn policy and negioate with other countries instead of fighing useless wars where so many have died, and nothing has been resolved, I believe everyone is entittled to their privacy and basic civil rights... I believe America should be a democracy where we are not lied to and used by polticians that have their own agenda.. These are the reasons why I believe in Ron Paul
I am IMPRESSED... Republican or Democrat, I have almost never seen a candidate who is so honest and relativistic in his/her thinking, and who doesn't try to please the public but says the things exactly as s/he believes them. If you believe in lower taxes, are anti-war, agianst the partriot act, and believe in honnest government who looks out for our well being not thier own self interests this is the man for you!

so a procedures the Primaries and Caucuses have been in aspects the place Conservatism is robust. regardless of the undeniable fact that, positioned Ron Paul in states like California, Nevada and Maine, the place electorate are extra average and independents and Democrats can vote, then Ron Paul has a sturdy threat of triumphing. the subsequent well-known is Florida. Ron Paul won't win there, with the aid of fact Florida has a closed Republican well-known, basically registered Republican can vote, no longer Democrats and Independents, which make up a extensive form of his base. yet come February, like i discussed in the previous, he has a sturdy shot in Nevada.

From the 14 thumbs down answers here it looks like many answerer's would rather live in communist China with the government running all aspects of human activity, than the USA.
Ron Paul, for those that are too self absorbed to educate themselves politically, is a true blue American whose political doctrine closely follows that of Thomas Paine {Give me Liberty or Give Me Death} John Adams {2nd U.S. President} George Washington {1st U. S. President} Thomas Jefferson {3rd President} & Roger Sherman {Statesman from Connecticut} & the rest of the founders of the Constitution.
I have been following his political activities for over 20 years and I can Honestly say he is No Phoney bought & paid for Politician.
Actually Dr. Paul doesn't really care if he's elected or not he simply wants the American public to wake up and demand their Constitutionally granted rights back....
....What I'd Really Like to do is ask how many American citizens have read, & understood the U.S. Constitution?
Ron Paul if elected, will guide America by the laws of the Constitution!!!!
Thank you.

I have only heard of him via 3rd parties. Everyone seems to think highly of him. As I have come to respect your input, it only adds to his credibility. My only concern is that every Republican president of late has been 180 against the US labor force and puts forth policies that devalue the US dollar and makes the poor even poorer by doing so. If he isn't of that mind set, then I would not have anything negative to say about him.
If he is actually a genuine person, neo-cons will have nothing but disdain for him as a genuine person would not toe the party line. Neo-cons demand 110% loyalty to the hive, which ultimately is their own undoing.

I don't agree with him on every issue, but he is the only Republican candidate that I consider acceptable, and I believe that he is for the people, instead of the big business, PNAC, NWO, Elitist, lobby's, etc.! *sm*

The vast majority of people that actually take a good look at him LIKE him. Many of his supporters are dedicated to sending him to the White House. I am one of those people.
Ron Paul 2008!
Edit: They are already spreading lies about him...I guess that means that they consider him a threat.

I think Ron Paul sounds like a decent candidate. Probably the best Republican candidate. Certain views of his I disagree with, but I think he would make an excellent running mate for Obama. yes I know, wishful thinking, but I think those two running the executive office would be a good thing for America.

Of course ron paul is a very smart man, but that never gets someone elected... I loved how he crucified Guliani in the 1st debate... It seemed to go unnoticed ... I am just hoping that the neocons do not rig the election for guliani to win,,,, i will vote for hillary the lesser of two evils.... because she is the only one with a chance.... it is sad people in this country are so brainwashed and apathetic... after our economic collapse we might start caring again,,,,,,

I like him. I differ with him on only a few areas.
he is a great candidate!
-ron is a liberatarian. he is upfront on that issues. like other 3rd party candidates he is running with one of the big two, I think he should be with the dems though. I'd welcome him-

Yes, a long hard look. I disagree with almost all of his stances. We cannot turn over all the Federal programs to the state and local governments. The poor states and small communities simply cannot pay for schools, roads, etc. by themselves. The tax burden be higher than any federal tax we have ever seen. I am against legalization of pot. Anyone stupid enough to vote against a national Amber Alert just isn't getting my vote.
