Computing is a vast field.

Computer science or software engineering class will send you in the direction of software development. This can be useful for some multimedia projects.

But really you should be concentrating on media, design or ecommerce classes which will teach you more about digital media.

PS, I teach in these areas and often counsel students on choosing the right subject for their careers.

It may not help much with the digital media, but the little knowledge I retained from computer science in college has helped me keep the upper hand on some of the malware I pick up occasionally. Knowing how things work and where to look for parasites in the registry is priceless.

well you could try taking a really easy (entry course) class and see if you like it
