Some are, and some aren't. I'll answer more specifically later.
Like you, I'm tired. ( I assume that's why you're going nighty night. ☺ )
I promise to respond to all of your open questions (including this one) in detail - before noon today - if you send me cyber love and keep these janks open long enough.
Dig it?
EDIT: I'm late, but here goes-
Yes, it's definitely possible that the woman you were with was shook. Women can be really jealous- jealous of other women's features, jealous of the attention that other women get, jealous of the men they're with, and so on... It feeds the egos of a lot of women. And it often drives fierce competition and causes fear and insecurity. As for me, well, I certainly do admire the looks of women who I think are beautiful. But I never get jealous or intimidated. Hell, when I see a sexy woman, I start grinning like a cat in a chicken coop. LOL! There's no point in being jealous. Jealousy won't change anyone's appearance. It accomplishes nothing more than unhappiness. Jealousy is a useless emotion and a waste of energy. Some women aren't bothered in the least. But others spend more time dragging their bottom lips than they do anything else.

Ah...$0.02 as much as I love you. I was taken aback a little with this one. As you know, I do not bite my tongue.
To answer you question. Many women are intimidated. Not because of the fact that the woman is more beautiful than she is. A woman is intimidated because in today's society she is judged by how she look in jeans instead of how intelligent, kind and loving that she is. I am pregnant right now, and I am in my 3rd trimester. My current due date is October 7th. What bothers me, is the reaction of other men.My husband is wonderful an compliments me on the regular. But I have that peice of paper, the young lady did not. When you noticed that insecurity, it would have been nice if you pulled her a little closer or gave her some extra attention. I do not think most women dislike a beautiful woman, but we dislike the way men respond to them.
Quick story, because I have to go to the office this morning and do a couple of terminations. I went into Food Lion a while ago before I was pregnant. A lady was with a guy and the guy kept looking at me. That made me uncomfortable, as a woman, that is a slap in the face. I turned to her and said, girl I gotta tell you I love that outfit that you got on, it looks so good on you. Then I turned to the guy and said, you are a lucky man to have such a beautiful girl. I'm glad my HUSBAND is not with me, you would be turning his head. I don't like things like that. Feeling insecure is the worst feeling in the world. Next time encourage the lady that you are with. I still love you though

I know exactly what you're talking about. Every girl will experience that situation at some point or the other. Girls are already self conscience. So, when she sees someone that looks better than her she feels insecure. It seems to women that men are always looking for something bigger and better; therefore, she feels as though she doesn't have a chance if that girl is around. Nobody wants to feel second best. A girl will start to think " Da.mn I have to do something to improve myself so that I can stay in the field". Hope I gave you a little insight from a girl's prospective.

I think some women are very much intimidated by other women. I myself couldn't give a **** what another woman looks like compared to me. I have a beautiful daughter and a loving husband. You have to take care of yourself and your family and doing that you shouldn't be worried about other people. Some people are just carried away with it all. I aint skinny, I have an **** (african background (seychelles islands) thank you) and titties and a lil stomach, my hubby loves it who by the way he is a gymnast so he has a nice body. So tubby me and slim hubby...

I'd say yes. First thought would be that whole competitiveness/jealous bit.
But then you can't really know til you ask, right.
I've got short hair and even though my friends deny it, I know I can look boyish. It usually doesn't bother me until I see an absolutely GORGEOUS woman. Then I get a bit resentful when I remember I couldn't look that good with long hair, but it passes.

Yes. I hate that I get that way but some of us girls like to be center of attention. When someone comes around that we feel look better or have a better presence we get intimidated. I should say that I get intimidated but I'm sure other girls feel the same way.

Classic case of insecurity, she isn't confident in herself and how she appears around you when some one who may have more attractive features shows up, she needs help on her self-esteem because no matter how good you look there will always be someone in the world who looks better

YES!! women can be b#tches, that's why I don't have any as friends or buddies. I get jealousy all the time from women of all races. I even had a girl that wanted to fight me just because of how I looked and we just randomly pass one another in the hall every other week. I had to report her to the dean. Many women that I pass usually give me ugly looks or whisper stuff like "she think she's all that". People get on my nerves

I have seen woman do that myself. I really try to be myself and I always try to make friends with woman who I feel are more attractive than I am. Usually, they are lonely because most woman don't give them the time of day and they just fight off guys.

The honey definitely had her shook. Women are like that for some reason. If a woman feels that another woman is beneath her in looks or anything else she'll hold her head up high and stick her chest out because she knows the other broad ain't got nothing on her but if a "honey" walks in with like you said...a nice slim waist, perfect posteria, tig ole bitties as you said of course she'll feel like a grain of salt to her because she knows that Ms. Honey can take her man...so yes I think that honey had her shook.
