I have four kids and is always like that.

I have four kids and my second oldest daughter feels like she needs to yell for everything! I mean hubby and I can be sitting right next to her and she just yells on the top of hers lungs as if we can't hear her lol. I have no clue why she does this but she does it all the time and it drives me nuts. LOL one thing she does that embarrasses me every thing she does it is when we are at church or any public restroom for that matter and she starts yelling to hear her echo lol . I sometimes think that she would know better to act like that. She is 6 and I think she should know by now how to act in public places. Some times I feel like she does it for attention after all she is a middle child . It is a work in progress. Good luck to you.

If they're running around screaming they probably don't realize they're being loud. good thing you clarified, I wasn't really sure why there were kids in your house yelling at you, haha! :) Just ask them to bring it down a notch and if all else fails invest in some earplugs :)

That's how they communicate with one another. Have you ever walked down a K-2 hallway at school?? You can't hear yourself think.

It's all about competition. It doesn't matter whether they're your kids or not they want the undivided attention of whatever adult is present
