The only thing is, I won't be bringing a bag with me or anything so an MP3 player or something that I will have to carry won't work. I was thinking something more along the lines of printing something amusing out and then just throwing it away when we go in. Last time I printed out a list of random facts, but I want something new. Any ideas?

Yeah grant some hand held gameconsoles in case you have it, play the video games on your cellular, hearken on your mp3 participant or... some ingredient to learn like a mag of loose newspaper. Or carry some snacks to eat on a similar time as waiting? Or attempt to speak with diverse people who're additionally waiting; they;re maximum in all probability to be enthusiasts of the band/artist you are going to look too, so which you will comfortably in looking large matters to communicate.

Hey! What band you going to see?
I'm going to see HANSON on October 16th in Atlanta, GA. =] It's general admission, so we have to stand in line as well. haha. What I normally do is I take a cell phone and call up all of my friends and chit chat. On something along the lines of printing something out to throw away, you could print out a crossword puzzle, buy a newspaper, get a deck of any kind of cards, soduku puzzle...all these things take time to do and all are disposable! =]
Or you could have someone stand in line for you and you walk off to look at things/stores around there...and switch up. =]

We used to play Uno with random people in line with us.
It was a ton of fun and we made alot of friends that way.
They are cheap, so you can throw them out at the end or stuff them in a pocket.

do an I spy kind of thing. my friends and I did that when were standing in line for a beatles tribute band.
we all raced to mark down all the things in the list we could find.
I don't know if you're going to the concert by yourself, but it is acutally fun to do with some other ppl.

Take along a book of sudoku puzzles to do that keeps me entertained for hours! or free from your local paper!
