The rightwingers always have an excuse for the mess the GOP has created in Iraq. What's the spin on this one?

UNTRACEABLE WEAPONS
Auditors reported July 31 the U.S. command's books don't contain records of 190,000 AK-47s and other weapons, more than half those issued in 2004-2005 to Iraqi forces. When such U.S.-bought weapons are found in insurgent or militia hands, they can't be traced to soldiers or police who may have passed them on.

"Why do you hate America?"
In other words, no response, just a personal smear campaign for daring to question their Saint Bush.

I don't know what the GOP's line on this would be... does it really matter?
This is a Pentagon and a Bush administration problem. The missing of nearly 200,000 firearms (a significant being fully automatic AK47s) smacks of pure corruption or incompetence. I don't know which one of these possibilities I would rather it to be.
I know that Bush is a Republican but come on... the GOP does not control the arms shipping and accounting for firearms. This is solely on the president's watch and the leaders in the Pentagon. Stop trying to spread the blame to people you don't like. I agree that this is unexcusable but to attack a political party for this just shows someone who is just looking for a fight (and not a real answer).

And, I'm sick and tired of non-answers from conservatives. Why are liberals not allowed to ask questions about very important situations.....and the loss of thousands of weapons is very serious....instead of berating the person asking the question, come up with an answer! That's how it goes....when they can't think of an excuse, cons attack!

Exactly how is the GOP responsible for arms in Iraq? Exactly how do you account for something we gave someone else?

As a "rightwinger" of the GOP, I'm personally insulted that you lump the neocons in with us. Neocons are the newbies in the party, and they've virtually destroyed us over the past 8 years. Please call them neocons, not rightwingers, because most of us real rightwingers are fighting hard to regain control of our party from these interlopers.
I've given up trying to keep up with the "excuse of the week."

The spin?
Shiit happens!
Missing money, missing guns, missing armored equipment for the soldiers, bill padding by contractors, hired guns like Blackwater killing civilians and shooting at U.S. forces......etc.
These things happen in wars I guess!?

They were sold in Tennessee one weekend at an NRA fair. The sellers didn't get a security check.

Are the left wing kooks still whining about that one. That is older than the torture thing. Come on, get up to date here. Bush and Cheney did 9-11. Get with it.

I have never supported this war but I also am sick and tired of the left's stupid and unfounded attacks on our military. They are the only good thing in this war.
