My friend is dating this guy, and has been for almost a year. He has been locked up for drug trafficing, he has horrible anger issues to where he loses all sense of what's going on, she's come home from his house so completely terrified, she is in hysterical tears, he was kicked out of his moms house, and he lives with his father in a campground. He dropped out of school and got fired from his job and is now working as a dishwasher. If she can't come over to his house, he gets very angry, (see above) but, now she got a job and he got angry and he wants her to quit because it cuts down on the time they can spend together. But, he had a job that took up most of his time, and when she cannot hang out with him, he MAKES her change her plans..... This is the part that pisses me off the most, she will get so angry with him that she is debatng breaking up with him, and then he calls and he wil be nice on the phone and she'll forget. about her anger. Plus, he smokes and is a drunk.

you unfortunately cannot control anyone but yourself. it sucks that she is choosing this lifestyle but you telling her anything is like peeing in the wind. she's going to do what she wants to do, and if she has this delusional idea that captain loser is going to change for her, she's going to learn a really hard lesson in life.
take care of yourself. be there as a friend, but don't get involved. thats all you can do. it sucks a LOT to see someone you care about suffer but its THEIR choice! you can't change that!

he is pathetic and he is treating her like crap. y is she letting him treat her like that? does she not c wuts going on. she is throwing her life away!
